Plea – Statement in Terms of the Provisions of Section 115 of the Criminal Procedure Act

1. Accused number 1 is a businessman and director of companies and is charged both in his personal capacity as well as in his representative capacity on behalf of accused number 2.  I am charged as such in my personal capacity.
2. Accused number 1 was, at all times relevant to the charges, the managing director of accused number 2, Indiza Infrastructure Solutions (Pty) Ltd (“Indiza”).  Accused number 1 is duly authorised to represent accused number 2 in these proceedings.
3. Accused numbers 1 and 2 plead not guilty to all the charges set forth in the indictment in this matter.
